Flashing MagSage LED

My LED has started flashing on my magsafe adaptor

The Battery status flicks between charged and charging...

I've tried resetting the PMU, running without power for a while, nothing seems to change it.

Anyone had this before? Any ideas?

In this thread found on another forum, a couple of people state that leaving the charger connected for a sustained period of time (one states leaving it in over night) solved the problem for them
