flashing my x1900xtx

I have just successfuly flashed the bios of my gpu to that of an x1900xtx toxic edition and everything seems to work well. haven't tried to check for performance gain though.. is this healthy thing to do for my graphics card?

If it runs fine and the temps are good then stick with it The flash just ups the clocks as you would with software overclocking.

temps went up around 4 degrees. i really couldnt oc my card with the old bios, my computer would crash all the time. so i thought of why not having higher clocks as standard- thus, the toxic edition which i believe is the fastest of the xtx (am i right about this?). my stock 3d now runs at 675/801 compared to the stock bios' 650/775. haven't tried oc'ing yet. does anyone have flashed their card with the toxic as well? what are your thoughts about it?
