I have a HIS1900XT and a Viewsonic VX2235wm 22" Widescreen.
I have had the monitor recently replaced as I was having trouble with the pixels flashing or displaying the wrong colour in random areas of the screen.
There was no such issue when i had my old VP171b-2 connected while the big screen was boxed waiting for collection.
The problem is intermittent not constant sometimes windows boots up fine and everything is ok, sometimes there will be issues on booting and sometimes issues will appear.
The problem is it is now happening with the replacement monitor.

Is my graphics card on the way out ? I have tried both DVI sockects and a different DVI cable and it keeps happening. About to get out my backup rig for a session on it and see what happens with my 7800GT.

Sods law the thing is behaving itself for the moment.

Maybe the solution is to keep a camera near it at all times then LOL :D

Seriously though, if you take a print screen when it is misbehaving, then we'll give our expert (albeit geeky and caffeine-addicted) opinion.

just take a print screen when it happens....if the problem is visible on a screen grab then it is you graphics card....if the problem is not captured on a screen grab it must be your monitor
