Flashing the 280 series

Can any of the 280 cards be flashed to 280X to unlock the stream processors?

I'm a tad of touch with the gfx scene...Winter approaches so its time for me to buy a GFX card

Doubt it, 7950 weren't unlockable.

You can always try I suppose, with the same vendors 280X if they have the same pcb.

shame....I remember being the first on here to unlock the 6950
