Simple question,
You want to flash the bios on your current "never flashed bios before"device. You notice there have been, let's say for example 4 bios updates by the manufacturer.
Do you
  1. Flash the bios individually from the earliest released update?
  2. Flash the bios from the latest update, as that will already contain the previous updates?
Anything else I should be aware of?
Thanks.

Name this device first :)
Motherboards apply par.2, but other devices sometimes not (like SSDs, for example - when you have to reach some point first, and then do latest update).

Thanks everyone for your replies.
Theres acttually two devices, Asus Transformer book T100 & Acer aspire Switch 10

One thing I always look at it is does the bios update fix any problems I have? I rarely do a bios update until they have released 2 or more updates.
Usually I update my bios on my desktop pc but less so on my laptop, unless I thing it's a needed fix. :)

Asus and Acer are both good manufacturers so tend to get less problems, don't forget if a bios update doesn't work it can be a pain unless your device has auto recovery from a failed update.

So far the only motherboard I have had a failed update on was an ECS motherboard and a graphics card years ago. :)
