Flashing white pixels?

I've started to notice some weird artifacting sometimes in my games. A bunch of white pixels start to flash and moving around the screen, it's not too obvious and hard to see but it is definitely there. I kept an eye on my temps and they seem fine (max 65c) and so do my core clock speeds, i'm not overclocked. I ran the EVGA OC Scanner X for a little while and it didn't detect any artifacting and I didn't notice any either.

I sometimes see it on youtube videos and pictures aswel (but not desktop or browser etc) a quick reboot seems to fix it when it does occur though, could it be my cable or monitor? I'm using the 314.07 drivers.

Any ideas? Thanks for any help in advance.

I had a similar issue a while ago, within browsers certain colours would have a purple shadow when scrolling and the same happened in games. Turned out it was my monitor settings, reset it to factory defaults and the problem went away.

Worth a shot :)

If not, is it always the same pixels? Could be the monitor, usually artifacts are bigger than 1 pixel.

Yeah I have a feeling it is the monitor, I moved the game window from my primary monitor to my secondary monitor and the artifacting disappeared on the second one. So it's either the cable or the monitor itself hmm..
