Flat HDMI cables

I don't want to start the same old argument about how digital cables are digital and they are all as good as each other....however, I need some recommendations for some 5m flat HDMI cables to run in the wall and under carpet.

Any advice?

I know you didnt want to start the debate and i am not starting one as there is no more to it, but over just 5m an HDMI cable really is just an HDMI cable

As above, just get the cheapest/flattest one you can buy at the required rating

I appreciate 'anything' will work but I'm lookin for recommendations of well built flat cables which won't fall apart. Cheaper cables I've had in the past haven't been built better than cables I've spent £10-15 on for example but it's been years since i bought one and they weren't flat

Thought I'd seen that name before.. he has an eBay shop too, might work out cheaper getting from there (£1 more expensive but free P&P and 10% discount for 3 or more)

Yeah it's on their own website, eBay and Amazon. Depending on how much you're buying it can vary where's cheaper with P&P etc.

The high street catalogue shop do flat HDMI cables up to 5M. Not cheap though.

Those won't be slim profile at all.

Better to get x2 flat ones, test them hard then run at least x2 through each run required, then you have x1 spare should the other die.

Yeah, realise that. Although I shouldn't worry about it, the flat ones weren't rated at hdmi v2 so went for the ones I linked. I've got a channel 40mm wide in the floor to run two of those cables and three runs of speaker cable so should be fine
