flatout 2 screen res problem

just installed this game but no matter what i do it wont fill up the whole screen.

I run my desktop on 1280/1024 and im trying to do this with the game.....but it leaves a black space all the way around iv even tried dropping the desktop screen res down but its still the same, even if I try 1024/768 desktop and 1280/1024 game res.


Any idea how to get around this problem

I have the latest official drivers

Use the picture adjustment controls on your monitor.

The likely cause is that the game is running at a different refresh rate from your desktop, and hence the screen hasn't been setup for that resolution+refresh combo yet.
