yes it's as I expected, no great difference to the 2nd one. Bit of a pointless purchase tbh. They could have released this as a patch.

Anyone been on mp on GFWL what's it like
Are you measuring with fraps or is there something built in? Wanted to test this on mine as I thought I was seeing some slowdown too but was trying to enjoy it at the time!

Flatout 2 at lans is amazing.. all the little mini-games etc.

mine came today, only niggle is i cant exit a race if half way through if im using my steering wheel. On flatout2 just pressing escape with bring up the in game options. Now this only works if i have the controller set as my keyboard. When using the wheel escape does nothing

Well I now have it, and like everyone else has said, same game but prettier and more stuff. Carnage mode is fun, I like it. Haven't tried online yet, but finally got a Windows Game Live account thingy (as carrot1401) so we'll have to organise a few games in the evenings next week....

There is probably really obvious answer but how do you mute other players voices while on GFWL. I dont have a mic and have no interest in listening to the other players chatting away during the races (especially as most of the time they arent speaking english anyway).

bah. just got this but can't signup to live. all microsoft sites are running very slow/not responding.
Is this the first Live game you have on the PC ?

The voice settings in there only allow me to change my own settings. I cant find a way to mute the other players

and yes i know if i had any microsoft live account, it works across everything - i just don't have one. i don't use hotmail/msn/anything like that.....
edit: on a different note, WTF is up with the installer. it's dumped a load of random files in the root of my d drive (related the vc++ redist).

If your use Xfire then Quit it..then set up ingame Account then your good to go & can restart Xfire & you will not get that problem there after with Xfire or any other LFW game install as it only effects the first time account setup to LFW on that OS install.

my problems signing up were an isp problem. i couldn't access any microsoft sites at all.
