Is this game any good would i like it, im not a big racing fan but i do like my banger racing the only 2 racing games that i regularly play is burnout revenge and destruction derby 2.

Ya its real good. Graphics are very good same goes for damage etc.

EDIT: Destruction derby 2, damn that was a great game. Remember playing it years back on the PS1. Cheat was MacSrPoo or something? couldn't get enough of the death bowl, the pit etc.

the DD series was amazing... definitely a classic. "You've blown your radiator!!111!1".
(Yeh the cheat was something like that).. the pit was always amusing. Was thinking of starting a dd2 thread the other day for nostalgia.

Sadly I just ordered this [FlatOut2] from play for more than the price of the discounted steam version, and my one will have starforce :(.
I got the demo the other day and Derby mode reminded me so much of DD2 I had to get the game

I need to thank you mate.

Thanks to this thread, you reminded me this was available on Steam. It's downloading now :D.

yep, i was gonna go out and get it, but for a tenner online its great

just wondering, do you need to run steam every time you play it or can you just play it without steam running?

If you get it on steam it's almost certain you will have to run it through steam. That's how it is with Prey...

I didn't realise DD2 would still work? I remember it was the first game I owned that said it was compatible with windows 95 on the box. :)

lol, I've got DD2 installed and running but I can't get the forwards key to work. Can steer but no accell or brake.

Great game. looks great. Plays great. I can play on full settings and it never slows even if there are lots of things happening on the screen (unlike NFS carbon)
