Never appreciate Ikea enough until you get a flatpack from the bedshop in the hick town that is Bury.

Got one ordered about 10 days ago, can you put it together? the woman said, yes I said, of course I can.

Went out for the first time last night in Manchester, got in at half 3 this morning, woke up about half 10 for this to be delivered, still completely off my head. Theres a total of 90 pieces to use, compared to the 12 or somethin I had to put a bookcase with from Ikea the other day.

Plus the fact I reckon I'm at least 3 times over the limit.

Should be fun.

Ughh tell me about it, Ive just completed a toy chest, stool, wardrobe, radiator surround, sanded two floors, filled the gaps in the boards, sanded again to flatten and also sanded a massive mexican pine wardrobe back to bare wood for painting tonight. I now appreciate cheap labour as it would have saved me about 2 full days.

my apologies, as I said at the top I was still quite drunk when tryin to do it, I have however, now done it and slept in it last night and it was awesome.

Couldnt get the pictures on yesterday, anyone know a free upload site, one where you just click upload and thats it? No email no joinin no album no nothin?

If they do I'll whack them on, 2 min job.

I might add that where you were supposed to put at least 4 screws, there were only ever 2 holes, i.e. you just had to force the screw into the wood for the rest of them, anyway, after around 90 minutes or so, a lot of sitting down and puffin from bein too dizzy, swearing and general fed upness, we have the finished product:

my room is in a converted garage and that door goes to a back room with a patio door, we got robbed once so keep it bolted now.

Still decorating it now, still need a wardrobe and some shelves and stuff, will post before and after pics when I'm done.
