Hi guys,

I'm a Computer Engineering student and I'm looking for an application to sync my Uni pen drive with my MBP.

I deal with multiple files (mostly Java) and between working on the Macs in the labs and my Macbook Pro at home I'm fed up with checking which updated files I need to copy across to my MBP or my pen drive.

Is there any application I can use to automatically sync the latest files from my MBP and back to my pen drive without making mistakes such as overwriting a file with the wrong version.

Anybody got any recommendations?

Thanks

Dont know of any software solution.

I had a similar problem and it taught me pretty quickly how to structure a good version history. I do sympathise however I've lost a lot of code that way.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I've had a play with automator but I can't find the bridge between sorting the files by last modified and copying all selected files to another location.

I'll have a crack at CCC now.

Cheers

EDIT: Actually rsync is looking quite nifty.
