Fleabay Alerts. Card Expired!

I go onto my fleabay account today. Get an Alert saying that my Bank Card is expiring which it is. (Got a new one in the post a couple of weeks ago)

This is the details that it says on the Alert...

EBay Account ID: Exxxxxxxxxxxx-GBP
Card: XXXX XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
Expiration Date: 30-APR-06
Date Reminder Issued: 042306

In order to receive uninterrupted service, please update this information.

To update your credit/debit card information:

1. Go to the eBay Home page.
2. Click My eBay at the top of the page, and sign in with your eBay User ID and password.
3. Click the "Seller Account" link (beneath My Account in the left navigation menu).
4. Follow the instructions for updating your payment method.

So I does what it says. Go into my seller's account. I owe it 49p from a listing. So I click on 'One-Time Payments'. Paypal screen comes up, I select 'If you do not currently have a PayPal account, Click here' (Paypal account not working anymore).

I filled in my payment details and what not, with my current card that does'nt expire till April 30th 2006, it comes up with...

The credit card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit card number.

So I try the new card. Valid from 05/06. No luck still...

We were unable to verify this credit card through our card validation process. To proceed with checkout, please verify the information you entered is correct or try a different card.

There is money in my bank account for sure to pay for it. Not sure whats going on.

Fleabay know that my card is expiring soon, how exactly do I change the details to my new card?

Anyone done this before? Help would be very appreciated.

It looks legit, especially since it didn't give you a link and told you what to do on the Bay. Have you activated your new card yet? Typically you should have to ring them to make it active before it can be used. Give it a good 12 hours after that point and try it with the Bay again.

Raist, I'l wait till my current card expires, seem if I get more Alert's etc. Then the new card should work.
