Anyone know if you can still order the webandwalk with this phone somehow? The other ones they have available aren't really to my liking. Don't mind waiting for the phone to come in stock as im in no rush for it but id be disapointed if i took one of the others available!
 
I'd already phoned up a day before and sorted a Friends & Relations discount of 50% :D

I assume the 25% discount is still valid, as you are still buying direct from T-Mobile - as long as you go to a proper T-Mob shop and not Link or Carphone Warehouse etc...
 
Surely the FlexT tariff's are better by miles ?

Tail end of April T Mobile are launching unlimited internet access for £7.50 a month, only on GPRS though. Should rock for pull / push email :)

New W&W includes Flext, and the unlimited bundles are already launched....

Sara, how the hell did you get MSN working on yours?
 
Erm, it just worked for me!

Do you have all the current T-Mobile settings for GPRS and stuff? I've just flashed my ROM to an iMate one (God, it's soooo much faster and less laggy now), and I've had to put in the GPRS settings again.

If your GPRS isn't working, add a new connection under 'My ISP' in the 'Connections' bit under Settings, and stick in this stuff: http://www.filesaveas.com/gprs.html#tmobile
 
sara, how did you go about flashing the rom on yours? My Vario is coming today and i'll be looking to do this. I've already downloaded the I-mate ROM.

Do i need any specific software to flash it? and will i lose all my programs such as word, excel etc?

I'm waiting for the vario2 - a few more features and better looking to boot.

True, although by the time thats out the 25% off will be gone and it will probably have a nice price tag with it even on the higher cost tarriffs!

I am not sure if the 25% thing will be gone or if other operators won't be offering a similar deal. There is always something better around the corner and I am still not 100% sure I want an 18 month contract.

I don't disagree it is a blinding deal :)
I expect other operators to fall in line soon, o2 for example are far more expensive for data.
T-Mob are very cheap, been with them about 18 months now, also have an O2 contract (to get an XDA exec) and an Orange contract (wife wanted a pink V3) so I am not in a rush to sign up for another just yet lol.

haha i can understand that, i would have ordered from t-mobile already if they had the Vario on their site, the other MDA's just dont appeal to me at all. What upgrades does the Vario 2 have over the first one?
