I have joined 2 rads with a short section of tube but it is squashing at the centre of the bend. I'm using straight G1/4 compression fittings. I suppose my best option would be to get 2 90deg fittings and then just a straight bit of tube.
However is there anything I can get to squeeze the tube back to a round shape as this can be done easily with fingers. This would save me having to drain the system (again) if I changed the G1/4 fittings. All working well enough at the moment but it isn't optimal.
Andi.

If it's collapsing, it's too tight of a bend radius for that size of tubing. Really, your simplest options would be to use different tubing (less desirable due to matching other fittings and tubing) or use a longer piece with a looser radius. Could you fit a longer piece of tubing?

Your idea to use two 90s might be a good compromise for best aesthetics while keeping the same tubing and fitting style.

Just how short is it? You could use a anti-kink coil also known as a hose coil spring but they won't perform a miracle if the bend is too tight.
