I have a Flic button (https://flic.io/) that I‘d like to use as a doorbell so I can hook it into home automations.
The button itself has a diameter of 30mm and a height of 8.5mm.

Just sticking this outside, as it is, would look a bit naff imo. I’m looking for a way to make it look nicer, perhaps give it a stainless steel/chrome look

In my head, I’m thinking I could take something “off-the-shelf”, perhaps something that is for a completely different purpose, and hack/repurpose it.
I‘ve posted in here as I am looking for some ideas on what I can use?

Alas, I don’t have a 3D printer…

I‘ve just come up with an idea that I think will work. I can cut out a 34mm circle out of the brick that I can slot the button into, then cover with a bell press like this: https://www.doorhandlecompany.co.uk/carlisle-brass-shaped-bell-push-satin-chrome-aq31sc-24923/ which I will screw to the brick on top so its flush with the brick.

…I think this will work but I can’t see the back of the bell press so I’m imagining what it looks like…in addition I have no idea if its possible to accurately cut into brick like that

EDIT: just seen the technical diagram - its for a wired bell, not mechanical so it won’t actually press the button that is mounted behind :/
