Evening all, just encountered a bit of an issue with my monitor and would like to seek some advice, basically I was working away on my pc getting something set-up and had about 15-20 tabs open (we've all done it dont judge 
) then I clicked to open a new tab which was a youtube video on something I wanted to look into and my screen just sorta crashed -funky lines and colours all over the screen (as if my gpu had bricked it) but the video kept playing - I could here the sound perfectly, I tried hitting ctl-alt-del but the monitor stayed on this screen so I restarted the pc thinking it was a gpu issue, and when the pc booted up this time though their is a distinct flicker/flash on the monitor, turned off the pc and connected my xbox to the monitor via hdmi (pc connected with dvi to see if it is a gpu issue) and am getting the exact same flicker! (sort of eliminating a gpu issue and hence why I'm posting in monitor sub-forum), tried taking a video of it on my phone but it couldnt really capture the flicker, sorta stumped here, monitors under a year old so still under warranty - any one out their that can shed some light on what this could be/cause of the flicker?
