Bought this tv Sunday but only just got it set up today and first off the picture is incredible and I haven't really touched any settings. Watching rambo bluray and every scene looks like a demo.

Only problem I have is there is a slight flicker on occasion like a kind of lag almost. Any idea what it could be?

Its on the ps3 at moment not had much chance to use it yet

It could be that the flicker your seeing is just the low frame rate of the ps3  If so intelligent frame creation should help but would give you a little input lag.

The settings I normally use for general use below and they were suggested to me by hdtv test so be worth trying them:

True cinema mode
sharpness 0
vivid colour off
cats off
pnr off
intelligent frame creation min

These are the setting I use for gaming to get the low input lag:
Game mode
sharpness 0
colour balance warm
vivid colour off
cats off

Can't find that intelligent frame thing yet I know I have seen it.
It's not quite a flicker it is more like a lag, noticed it a few times around sly it like a slight outline around him that seems to be behind. Hard to describe best way I can as it was quite bad on one scene then it looked like predator when he goes invisible around sly

I think I have seen that when intelligent frame creation is on high during a movie I watched.

I would go see what that is set to here is how you get there start with the menu button on remote.

menu
picture
advanced settings
inteligent frame creation
off or min

Thanks for this not had chance to try it again properly yet as I have been busy but when I get chance I will let you know if it works.
