Flickering on 5850

Installed the latest drivers (10.12's) for my XFX 5850, and on both monitors, either one or the other starts to flicker. Its been working fine since I got it last year, but its flickering now.

Anyone got any ideas how I can fix this?

What are the clocks?

Stock clocks - though it never flickers on games, only on the desktop.

Its probably something to do with the power play. With two monitors at idle, the clocks should be running 400/1125 (assuming its the standard 5850). Download gpu z or MSI afterburner and see what the clocks are set at idle.

Its at 400/1000 at the moment. at 36 degrees C. There not flickering at the moment, its only when the PC starts up.

Loose dvi cable? Worth a put, and try rolling back drivers.

A lot of people have found 10.10's to be very good!
