Flickering Screen (Display Port)

So I got an msi 5850, had 1 monitor with dvi and it worked great,
put in display port to this monitor and dvi to another and it was flickering
Used driver sweep and re-did the ati drivers
Installed latest again and now the dvi screen flickers :(

Is this faulty card or drivers or what because I ran both screens off a 4670 with no problems at all (both dvi)

At first it did but after ati install it doesn't, and the monitor with display port doesnt flicker now, seems only when i scroll on either screen the dvi one flickers

i have this problem with 3 monitors when playing video but only when it uses the gfx cards hardware acceleration.

the problem lies when the mem clocks change it makes my monitor flicker or tear on the dvi monitors but does not happen on the display port monitor.

I have read that some gfx card mem clocks go so low that it creates problems on the desktop i find anything above 900mhz fine for everything.

the only way to stop this is to hack the firmware of the video card which i did and put all 3 mem clocks to 1200mhz

the mem clocks jump up and down depending on what your doing but its a known fault with the ati cards.

there are posts that tell you how to correct this
