Flickering when moveing in game

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to discuss it, but i have a question, ive noticed there is a slight flickering when i move the screen in game.

eg when im playing starcraft 2, it tends to happen if i move more suddenly, any idea what is causing this?

Sorry i didnt explain it very well. I mean when i move the cursor in game, if i move too fast the image appears to flicker, generally halfway across the screen?

I switched on the Vsync on the game options and it seems to have done the trick!

As for the rest i already use an HDMI cable from my7770 to the screen, so i don't think it was that?
