No seriously.

I'm getting quite a few flies inside my full face helmet when riding along, they're distracting to the point that I'm worried I might crash while fannying around trying to remove them.

My helmet is an HJC IS17 with a chin curtain...so how the devil are the blighters getting inside my helmet?! Through the vents?

My normal strategy is to open my visor a bit and shake my head around, but it's high risk as sometimes another fly or piece of crap hits me in the face when I do this.

WHY??!

Yeah the only issue I sometimes have is a fly to the eyeball if I stupidly forget to close my visor, or one crawling around on the edge of my face/the lining. A quick open and 60mph wind soon gets rid of them.

Hahaha! I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

I think only the small flies make it in on the chin vent on my GT-Air but it is somewhat annoying. I either ride with the vent shut and get rather warm or I open it and risk swallowing a fly or taking one to the eye.

It's those big fat juicy flies that you have to worry about, BvG hit one, it exploded and somehow ended up with maggots in his lid the next time he used it

Drives me insane, it's usually those really small ones too!

I tend to get ones, right beneath my eye - and they give that 'tickling'' sensation which is quite distracting :p

Those are the best one's, the ones that fly in,survive and then go walkabout inside,up near your ears and hair, you can fel them wriggling

Also remember watching a TV crash programme where a bird hit a biker smack in the face, visor open and caused him to crash
