I know it's The Sun, but hey!

I don't see a problem with being X-Rayed, and i think the Airport did the right thing in banning her from the flight.

Though the article contradicts itself...

A MUSLIM woman was barred from boarding a flight to Pakistan when she refused to go through a full body scanner because of religious reasons.

The female passenger who declined on medical grounds was said to be concerned because she had an infection.

Hmmm....

Don't see the problem...unless X-Ray machines affect pacemakers or something? Then I could see a valid reason

But still...religious reasons? Lol....Fine, the rubber glove it is then love!

The infection thing. Probably from watching House too much, but doesn't full body radiation destroy the immune system? Obviously airport scanners aren't that extreme, but it must have some effect on the immune system.

Devils advocate but ..

If a airline decided that all it's passengers had to say out loud the line 'Jesus deserves to rot in hell' before it let passengers on - to weed out Christian fundermentalists .. would that be acceptable ...?

where will it end eh?

im not sure that they had full body scanners in the time the Quaran was written, thus how can it be against the religion?

sounds odd to me...

A stranger seeing you naked?

Don't have to be religious to object to that either.
