So just flew back with Ryanair, from Riga which had an plane that had an incident that took about 7 hours to resolve and meant our flight was about 8 hours late to arrive back in London. From what I read compensation is only issued if it'd a fault due to the airline. But the airline that caused the runaway closure issue was airbaltic.
Does this apply for compensation?
