Flight sim card help

Hello

I've got a 5600x/6700xt/32gb and I'd like to play Flight Sim 2020 at 100fps or better at 1440p. The 6700 isn't going to cut it. Does anyone have experience with a 5600x and FS2020 and can recommend a card to get this FPS?

Obvs don't want to spend more than I need to.

You are never getting 100 fps with a 5600x. Even if you bought a 4090.

Even a 4090 with a 7800x3d can't get close to 100fps at 1440p. Only just about gets 60fps at ultra settings.

Won't get anywhere close to 100fps. Pointless upgrade if thats the goal.

Would be better to get something with DLSS 3 frame gen. Only way to get 100fps.

Yeah. Its a case of, i only upgraded from Ivy Bridge 2 years ago with this current rig, and my 3570k lasted 8+ years. So if I'm going to upgrade, I don't want to spend £750 on an extra 20fps. I want something that gives a smooth 1440p (not fussed with 4k) experience on high-ultra settings. Smooth to me is 80fps+.

Need to aim for the magic 60fps then a 7800x3d and 4090 will do it at ultra

edit: 4k not 2k, who plays at 2k lol

Have you actually tried Flight Sim 2020? Try it with the FPS overlay disabled. You might be happy.
