Hi all.

I'm running an E6600, 4GB RAM and Vista 64.

I get the massively irritating nvlddmkm.sys display driver has stopped responding error ONLY in FSX, not in any other game.

Has anyone else experienced this and, if so, how did you fix it?

Many thanks.

I had that same problem but in a different game cant remember what i did to fix it though,

Have you got the latest drivers for your graphics card and direct x, cant think of anything else.

I just rebooted from having that error while playing a video 10minutes ago :(

(I just installed some different drivers to see if that stops it)

Running vista 64bit here as well...

Hmm ok here you go try this ..............

(this did sort fellow subsim gtx/gt/gts users and vista x64 nvlddmkm.sys probs and random bsod's)

Get and install Driver Sweeper latest version

Driver to use (removed 1st part of addy add h**p ;) ) ://files.filefront.com/WinVista6417726rar/;10612722;/fileinfo.html

Method, Install DriverSweeper

1: From vista control panel, programmes and features, Remove the vidcard drivers there,

2: Reboot into Safe Mode (keep tapping F8 as pc reboots and choose Safe)

3: Use Drivesweeper and remove the card drivers, CLOSE Drivesweeper and do the removal again !!

5: Find where the previous driver root folder was EG: C:\NVIDIA (find the nvidia folder) now delete this folder

5: Restart PC and it will bootup normal, If you're asked to install anything just click No etc

6: Now in to desktop, In the driver folder you opened sometime ago Start the install by using the normal Setup.exe

Do Not worry about the Asus Bitmap image (they leaked the drivers you see lol)

7: Follow any prompts to reboot etc

Just copied from a post i did but you should get the drift of it

Ciao

Def

ps: post back if any probs, and drivers are the 177.26 with modded inf

pps: Have tried later modded 177.** drivers but all cwap so far :(
