flight sim x install problems?

Just received a copy of flight sim x, went to install it and i get the message:

"1607 unable to install installshield scripting runtime" almost as soon as i attempt installation.

Does anyone have any ideas around this ??

That link seems to be for XP, would it work the same for vista?
