Get a nice 27 inch 144hz 1440p freesync monitor first that you can enjoy all comp time on, worry about the gfx card next year when game is out.

The sim could be CPU limited like P3D, FSX etc.

Actually given the graphics, and is DX12 only doubt it.

That was due to being programmed as a 32bit program. It was limited to 1 core 1 thread and 3.75GB of RAM.
Bit of a disaster in later year. It STILL hammer even OC'ed 9900k's.
I'm ridiculously excited for FS2020, as long as it's a proper complete sim and not a game. God knows what GPU it will require.

Yes. P3d v4 is 64 bit and off loads a lot of the work to the GPU. Still cripples even the most powerful of systems as the core is essentially very dated now.
