Flight simulator X. Impossibly hard challenge

Set the wind to this.

With fair skies and no raining
Now set the plane to Airbus A321

Flight planner, from Gatwick to Heathrow.
Time:Mid day.

The challenge is to fly from Gatwick to Heathrow in 200 knot gusts.
I tried this, it is so hard to get the approach right.
By the way you can try it with any other plane but most of them go backwards when going towards the wind.
Now good luck and lets see who manages to do it.
Just post a screenshot and I will trust your word.

Haven't managed landing it on the actual runway yet, came close though. Using the CS 707

Must try this soon! It's about 20 times windier than max landing winds for the majority of aircraft.

Did you try landing on the 27s on 09s?

Yeah, when I put the flaps down at 400kias I was thinking "I wouldn't have flaps anymore if I did that in real life" Funnily enough, you can fly directly to EGGL and you don't need to line up for the approach. All you need to do is slow down a bit and hover downwards lol

OOh, got try this! Thinking B747, max payload & fuel with epic low level fuel dump on approach. Wouldn't want to try any landing with more than a 20knot crosswind. Very difficult to get right.

Got very close but when you get close in any small adjustments destroy the approach - landed Harrier style on the grass!

Yes but try doing that with 200 knot crosswinds, flippin impossible.

That is an awesome video. Fair play to the pilot. I may have to try that approach in fsx lol.
