Looking to travel around Asia next year. Normally I travel on about $30 a day if not less and try to avoid expensive flights even if it means getting on a coach that adds several days onto a journey.

Asia however, is going to be a bit more expensive in terms of travel and I was wondering if anyone knew the cheapest way to get out there?

EDIT: Destinations arn't really important as I will be jumping from place to place anyway.

Walk? Swim? Train?

I would suggest fly!

Well it will probably be a case of getting a flight out at the start of summer and just seeing where the mood takes me. There are always places I get told about by other travellers and usually I just have to go see them. I was in Amsterdam the other week and ended up travelling to Germany for the world cup opener, just to see what it was like :p

The return flight is undecided yet, do I book it now or when I'm out there?

We shall see :D

now, unless you want to shell out for a flexible ticket, which some airlines do as standard.
