Flip4Mac - DRM Content

Hi guys,

i'm having a problem playing DRM (digital rights management) protected content on the web, its to view the AVTV (Aston Villa TV) footage from the official website as part of the official subscription i pay and it works on windows but not on the mac...

i have flip4mac, perian and VLC installed if that helps the diagnosis... any ideas?

(by the way, also doesn't work for my brother in law on his account, also on a mac, so i think its a mac problem rather than me, so if anyone knows a workaround that'd be great )

its not going to work.... as far as i am aware mac DRM is totally different to windows DRM, so you have to look for the mac compatible link

I remember I had a similar problem with the Arsenal TV website, they eventually built in Mac support and that worked OK. So I guess it depends on whether the people developing the site have build it support for Macs.

You could email the developers of Flip4Mac, or boot in to Windows via BootCamp if you need the footage.

Whay. Although last nights wasn't.

I wouldn't hold your breath about getting it to work on the Mac. Sounds like Windows DRM.

i've fell out with man u, they lost me 40 quid last night

just needed that penalty to go in... is that much to ask from the premierships top goalscorer?

naah, villa supporter through and through... like seeing liverpool win but wouldn't class myself as a fan and take or leave the rest... like watching any good match tbh...

i've emailed the villa webmaster to see what the score is (no pun intended )

might need to be parallels or bootcamp to watch it on you mac, through an install of XP - which is a poor!
