floor tiles fitting?

got 2 questions i cannot find the answer too....

1) do you cut floor tiles with a normal tile cutter and press down on it in the normal way?

2) can you use normal tile adhesive to put them down as i can see floor tile adhesive however i have nearly 5 litres of tile adhesive already unused?

1) depends if it's a big enough tile cutter and on the thickness of the floor tiles.

2) No, unless it says that it can be used for floor tiles, don't use it, as it'll be walked on, unlike a wall.

As said above, answered perfectly.....The adhiesive you want will be dependant on the tiles youre using....Ceramic Im guessing, therfor you want an adhiesive thats suitable for ceramic tiles and so on, which it would say on the back on the bag.

going onto concrete but managed to get to a proper tiling shop(not focus or b&q etc) and they answered exactly how you have.

they gave me a few things to check out first as they asked lots of questions etc and gave very good advice.
