I need to make a bootable floppy for my Rackable systems server, Its for the Silicon Raid Chip.

The files i have in the .rar is
Checksum.exe
f.bat
f_sI.bat
hdmag217.rom
ect...

How would i go about booting these to a Floppy?

Can get the files you need from here (select the OS you need to boot into). Then you can format the disk and point to the boot files on the format dialog. After that, copy the files you need on it to the disk, assuming MS-DOS is ok.

There are guides all over the net to make bootable floppies. Are you doing something more complex than that and I got the wrong end of the stick?

not complicated. need to load the sata drivers for when windows xp says 'press f4 to load additional scsi or raid drivers'

Oh, in that case all you need to do is copy the driver files to the floppy disk and point the XP installation to A:\ (after pressing F4)

Shouldn't need it to be bootable at all. Just unrar it to the FDD.
