hi guys as the title suggests any ideas for cheap flights to florida ,possibly around the end of june start of july and if i do make it any tips for the disney parks or universal studios ie what to see first

How old are all the people in the group? If you have younsters with you I'd be sure to do Disney, but if you're all in your teens and older, skip Disney and go right to Universal

Bah, I'm 28 and the gf is 23 and we're staying in Disneyworld in July/August. I think it's great :D

its for myself and wife three kids 6,9,11 got the offer of cheap accomodation but the flights are expensive

Fair enough then!! I guess I'm saying that from the point of view having been a couple of times.

If you've not been it's probably worth it for the experience :) I have fond memories of splash mountain and thunder mountain as a kid!

edit: with kids that age, definately make sure you get to Disney, they'll adore it.

As for flights, check on expedia and have a look. Unfortauntely during school holidays flights to Florida always jump up as it's peak time for UK tourists.

That doesn't seem too bad, direct flight to Orlando. there are some cheaper but they connect all over the place.

If that was aimed at me, I've already been once and would still happily stay at Disney. I think I'm just a big kid really :D

You'd probably be able to knock a huge lump off the flight by connecting in chicago. one connection isnt too much to argue with if the price difference is enough.

Yea, it was aimed at you. Having read it again it might not have come across quite as I intended - I'm not trying to question your choice of holiday :)

My experience of Florida (I've been 8 times and been all over the place, Florida keys, orlando, gulf coast, atlantic coast etc) is that you really can't go far wrong - there's something for everyone.
