Florists and Website Dates

I'm recruiting the help of OcUK with a little problem I have.

First of all, look at both of these websites:

Posies & Petals

Margaret Emms

They're pretty much identical, right?

Anyway, both list their postcode as NR1 3SP. However apparently there's a store named "Posies & Petals" with the postcode NR2 4AZ. I was thinking that it's the same shop (though bear in mind it may not be), but they've moved locations in Norwich and left the old address on their new website.

In order to save me, what might be, a wasted trip to a florist which doesn't exist, I was wondering if there's anyway to see which website was created/updated most recently. If it's Posies & Petals then I'm assuming it will have the postcode NR2 4AZ, if Margaret Emms is the newer site chances are the postcode will be NR1 3SP.

I was wondering if there's anyway to see which website was created/updated most recently.

To see which one has been updated most recently, you could look at the way back machine (www.archive.org), and compare the pages. To see which site was created first, you could do the same, or you could do a whois at somewhere like www.whois.net to see which domain was registered first, as that would most likely be the site that was created first.

It all seems a bit over the top though, surely a phone call to them tomorrow morning to confirm their address would be easier?

If its any help, I'm pretty certain there isn't a florist up the St. Stephens Square section; Thats just past the old ?hospital? which was being rebuilt I think.
There is a florist on Dereham road about at that postcode, couldn't tell you whether they are Posies & Petals though. (Near the chippie)

Thanks, guys! Looking at the Whois for Posies & Petals it shows the address as:

30 Dereham Rd
Norwich
Norfolk
NR2 4AZ

Cheers, Leezer. I know there's a florist called Petals on Dereham road with the postcode NR2 4BU. I'm just not sure if there's one called Posies & Petals there.

Anyway, I'll give them both a call though just to make sure.

This is the most bizarre thread ever. They have a phone number listed, in the time it took to even think about postinga thread on te subject you could have called them and confirmed which address is current.

Y'know, until it was pointed out in this thread I didn't even think of calling either florist. The fact that their phone numbers were listed completely passed me by in fact.

Besides, I thought I'd give you guys something to do! Good point though.
