Happy new year to all

at the moment I have the following flow

240 rad-res-gpu-360 rad-cpu-240 rad-back to res

my question is would I be better off having the 360 rad feed the gpu and the smaller rad feeding the cpu or will it not make any difference to the cooling performance

also would you change the position of the rads, I have the 360 on top blowing air out and the 240 at the side blowing air in. see pic

thanks for any advice

It's generally agreed that loop order doesn't matter for cooling as the flow of water carries heat in a much more cumulative manner. So long as it's spending time in the blocks to pick up heat, and time in the radiators to release it, you're ok.

Your case setup looks ok. You could aim to have both radiators as intake and let positive pressure push the air out of other case openings. That might lower loop temperatures and raise case temps slightly, no big deal.

Alternatively use the 360 as intake and the 240 as exhaust but that will probably make a very small difference. What is behind the 240?

To be honest it looks pretty good, are you having temperature issues?
not having temp issues...was just wondering if it could be improved. There is lots of room behind the 240 rad as its the lian-li dynamic case so has dual chamber design. I have changed the loop several times and am trying to find the best config ...everytime I have done it I have said to my self I am happy with it now...but next day I think would it be better if I did it this way or that way....probably boredom may be setting in lol. But I may try your suggestion of having the 360 fans pulling in instead of out and vice versa on the 240 rad....Give me something to do for a few hours :)

360 pulling in and the 240mm out is deffo more efficient choice.

Such a nice case aswell, was soo tempted to switch to it,then i realized pretty much whatever config i ran i would end up having to recycle air like that :(

Hopefully they will get a 120mm exhaust in the standard spot on the next revision!

Have you considered geting a multiport top for your res and just running from the 240 rad into the top of it? would look a lot cleaner and could be added at a later date with minimal fuss
so would you leave the rads where they are but just reverse the fan direction?

well...I changed all the fans a round....tidied up the tubing, left the rads in place as I couldn't get the side one in the bottom it was a bit to close to the sound card....back up and running and it does seem a little bit cooler...only a couple of degrees but will do some benchmarks tomorrow and see if there is much difference but now I am off to the pub.....HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL. :)
