Flow / Restriction / Tube Diameter Query

Hi all, I have a query relating to flow and restriction considerations in a single loop system.

System being assembled comprises of dual D5 pump double reservoir combo, 2x240 rads, 1x360 rad, 1 CPU block, 2xGPU blocks. This loop apparently classifies as medium to high restriction loop given the number of components.

I'd like to utilise Koolance QuickDisconnects to make the loop modular and easier to maintain and swap out components and aid drainage, therefore propose installing 6 QDC points, which apparently increase restriction in the loop and make flow rate lower.

For this loop, should I use 1/2 inch ID tubing or is 7/16 sufficient? 1/2 apparently allows for an increased flow rate. Have read on other sites that a D5 should be ok with 6 QDCs. Any opinion on this?

Alternatively, Koolance say on their FAQ that they recommend 3/8 ID for 'most loops'. Would my system proposed above, with QDCs, work well with this tube diameter, in consideration of flow?

Only other consideration QDC tubing compatibility.

Thanks :)
