Shot these out in the garden today C+C welcome. The images haven't been touched just a resize for the net.

Hmm

I'm just getting into trying my hand at photo retouching, just playing with things at the moment.

Here's my attempt:

Some increase satuaration, USM, Adjust levels to make darker, and slight red curve adjustement.

Comments on my adjustments? Perhaps a bit OTT?

My attempt.

Little contrast adjustment, little sharpening, little bit of clarify filter.

Done in PSPX as I really don't get on with Photoshop.

My own quick play. But in many ways, I prefer the pastel tones of your own version.

Original shot is nice, your camera seems to come out with similar results to mine - a bit faded at times, so I end up spending a few minutes touching them up afterwards!

Yeah it could be that or it could be me or it could have been the light conditions not sure, but either way I like the shot.

had a quick go in photoshop just after you posted the thread, but my host has been down for 2 days so couldn't post.

i like making images slightly darker for some reason, just personal choice

got rid of that white dot to at the bottom left of the centre flower, it was bugging me hehe
