Hi, can I use what is supposed to be the fill port (red arrow) as an OUT? There is a fill port in the case I could use instead.

If so, then could I also use the out port (green arrow) as a drain?

The GPU wont be in the loop until next gen for obvious reasons.

Also is there anything wrong with the whole thing except (I know there's more fitting than theoretically needed but I can only do 1 bend per tube).

You don't actually have a pump in that FLT240? In fact, taking a long look at your pic, I'm becoming more and more confused.

You have a pump that is going to be fed by a tube coming from a radiator below it? This will be very hard to prime. Golden rule of watercooling is reservoir before pump and above it.

you do realise you can put that d5 next into the pump port at the back of the flt240 res right? no need to have the pump separate from the res :)

Yes there's a pump in the res as well, I figure with all the 90 degs and I also want to run everything as low rpm/noise as possible. I will have to not power on the D5 next until the loop is filled. God I hope I remember that!

You could use it as an inlet. I’m pretty sure you can run that loop on 1 d5 easily.

I thought of that but figured it would be too weird to get to the in and out of the rear distro, but after just checking the manual it seems the in out of the rear distro can be reversed. Nice one , that'll work. :) Thanks.

But does that mean the existing in out for the cpu is reversed as well or daes that stay the same?

Distro manual excerpt: https://1drv.ms/u/s!ApDZ5zl1onU8gtsOPKL9To8YMrp5cg

The in and outs on block are decided by what's inside the block. Nothing to do with the pump.
The ins and outs on the flt can't be reversed as far as I'm aware. The ins can be any of the holes not considered an outlet option ( which there are two of ). But the outlets can only be either of them 2 options.

On the distro you can use any of the holes for inlet or outlet. Aslong as it doesn't have a pump or jet plate then the orientation doesn't matter.

So are you saying that if I use the default OUT as an IN and the default IN as OUT then then the default IN/OUT for the CPU and GPU remain unchanged, or do I have to also reverse them if I am reversing the defailt IN/OUT for the distro?

its just a distro, Here the disto default ins/outs: https://1drv.ms/u/s!ApDZ5zl1onU8gtsOPKL9To8YMrp5cg

there's a specific in and out for the distro and there is also specific in/outs for the cpu and gpu on the distro itself.

It says you can reverse the distro in/out no problem. So I am trying to understand if I reverse the disto in/out, then compared to the default setup in the pic, do the specific cpu/gpu in/outs also swap around compared to the default setup in the manual picture above?

I get what your point is now, thanks. But I am going to stick to the default as yes it is physically easier and given that my monoblock has a specific IN port, I think I will just switch the IN/OUT of the distro and the CPU in/out on the distro and that'll work fine. Cheers.
