Fluctuating i5 3570k overclock temps

Hi,
I've currently got my i5 3570k overclocked to 4.4GHz, on the spec in sig, and everything seems stable. However, I've been checking HWMonitor and temps seem to be alternating quite a lot. It will go from 37C to 42C, then to 33C then to 50C then to 40C, all within 5 seconds or so. Are my temps meant to be doing this, or should I be worried? I'm considering downgrading the overclock to something like 4.2GHz and see if that helps.

look in taskmanager/performance and see the cpu usage,it depends what the cpu is doing

Perfectly normal. The temperature range for IvyBridge from idle to load when overclocked is very large.

Have a 5%-12% CPU usage with Chrome, Skype and HWMonitor open.

yh its normal,

2-3% load is usually 28-30c
