A fresh install of windows 8 to an SSD, all went swimmingly.
Then as usual I transfer the position of the 'my user' folders to a secondary drive, to save space on the boot drive.
Folder movement as usual involves right clicking and 'move location' of each of the music, pictures, documents, downloads and videos folder.
I started with 'pictures' and fluffed up, as I forgot to create a subdir on the D; drive first, so I've redirected 'pictures' into D: root.
Now I can't move the boyo anywhere, as any attempt to 'change location' seems to thing I wish to change the location of the actual drive, rather than the location of the users 'pictures' library or folder.
This is most vexing. Tried all sorts, but within the windows tree structure, the 'pictures' dir doesn't even appear under that user anymore, it has simple be renamed from 'pictures' to 'D:'
Any suggestions folks?
