Fluid Temperature Max?

Hey all,

I currently have my 1080ti and 7600k in a loop, I have a inline fluid temperature sensor and am curious as to what the max safe fluid temperature is. The tubing type is soft, and over barbs with clamps.

I would like to run the fan profiles on silent 24/7 but am concerned about fluid temperatures touching in to the high 30s, the cpu and gpu temperatures are fine.

Thanks

Sounds fine. EK for example lists the acceptable range as 60 degrees on their fluids, which is similar to max temps of things like D5 pumps. Your temps while warm are not an issue really if your purposely keeping the fans running at lower rpm and the temps are acceptable.

As Radox said - Alphacool have also quoted 60° max for their VPP755 D5 style pump.

I don't have a fluid temp sensor but a logical assumption I can make is, if my CPU and GPU stay below 55, my fluid can't possibly be over 55 ever. My system maxed out at 53 during full stress tests this summer.

Most blocks, pumps, rads and tubing are rated for a maximum of 60 degrees C. Go beyond that and you will have leaks. You would have to have a serious problem to get anywhere near that though and no doubt you would now it before that happened. I have inline temp sensors and have my fans set to keep it in the low 20's although it's 12.8 degrees C at the moment. Before anyone says that's not possible my rads are in a box on a windowsill sucking in cold air from outside.

My water temps are around 27c normal desktop use but after 2 hours of gaming temp was 35c. gpu and cpu temps around 44 - 46c. The xspc tubing I’m using are rated for 60c.
