I remember asking awhile ago that and people told me Fluid XP colours get clogged up and are not very good for pump ect. but then i look at project builds from ocUK and they all use fluid xp??? is it just for show or what? or is it fine to use it?

but couldnt they buy a silver coil or is it there choice to use it because im sure if they didnt want to damage pump and have a lots of gunk they would buy some PT nuke or somthing?

Fair enough, does no one else use coloured water? just coloured tubing then?
coloured tubing doesn't run the risk of clogging everything so it is widely used over coloured fluid

There is no difference between coloured fluid and clear fluid.

Fluid XP is used because a lot of our customers demand the best in performance and so, since we love to outfit you guys with exactly what you want, we supply the best.
The silver coil and PT nuke are good ideas, I don't know why we don't sell them! I will definatly speak to the purchaser in charge of watercooling to see if we can get some in if you're interested?

So if you used silver coil and PT nuke in water how often would you need to change water?
most people will change it every 6 months to a year, but you could probably go longer than that just topping it up every now and again
also I would buy a silver coil from you guys but I already have one, however I'd guess more people would be interested in buying WCS stuff from you if you sold them because otherwise they might save a few £'s getting everything elsewhere, mostly to do with postage though

Personally, I would stay away from coloured / UV reactive fluids given the issues a lot of people, me included (Feser One UV reactive), have had with "gunk" build up in their loops.
I'm sure there will be plenty who will have have had no issues at all, but I don't relish the task of cleaning that ***p out of my loop again.

I guess I was lucky with my Feaser One UV Black -was in my loop and didn't sit easy once I had seen the gunk in others loops. Decided to go for Water + PT Nuke. Turns out mine was quite clean after about 8-9months of Feaser. End of the day I can't see it making much of a different at all.
All depends on the quality of the colored fluid i guess, cheap stuff stear clear of, the fluid Xp, guess only time will tell on that if horror story's come or not, it is quality coolant that, just expensive.
But by far the easiest option is coloured tubing.

You will know when to change the fluid if you are using water because it will not look the same, it can go cloudy/discoloured so it's dealers choice when to change to be honest.
