Fluid XP

only if you don't trust yourself to tighten up clamps properly :p

seriously, if you tighten up and don't mix metals there's no need to go buying expensive water. Deionised, from halfords, about £1 a litre.

these liquids are shipped so they are deionised and non conductive, but after being in a system after a while that uses metal blocks you will get ions dissolve in it and so will no longer be non-conductive, so it is a waste of money unless you think the thing is going to burst straight away, but then you should have tested it for 24hours first anyway.

What additives would you recommend?

I am suprised etailers don't sell deionised water, I'm sure most customers would rather pay £2 for a bottle when ordering their water cooling kit than having to make a special trip to halfords.

i would suggest you go down to halfords and just purchase a couple of litres of dionised stuff and get some anti-corrosion addivtive, if you ask them they should be able to tell you which one it is. just get a bottle of the anti-corrosion as u only normally add a little bit by % and after the setup has been tested, so unlikely to waste much of it.

hope this helped.
