Am currently cooling cpu and gpu's with:-

360 Xspc +120 xspc rads.
Xspc cpu block
and D5 pump with EK xres 140

and Mayhems x1 uv blue concentrate diluted with Mayhems ulta pure water.

All tubing is being replaced and am installing 2 new waterblocks as have moved from 7950 to 290.

Am going for new:-
Xspc compression fittings (currently using barbs)
clear tubing
Mayhems White UV - pre-mixed.

Obviously do not want the white to be contaminated with blue so am pondering which is the best approach - flush out with de-ionized water or buy new cpu block + pump and res.+ rads.
Assuming that 'flushing' is best option. Drain, refill with water & run (how long?) , repeat (how many times? ) or is it repeat until no sign of blue?

As another option you could use the Mayhems cleaning kit - seems to do a thorough job at removing the 'bits' and colouring from the system :-)

Did not know that they made one.:o

Do now :D Bought:)

n.b. thanks for both replies - do not fancy having to dismantle the blocks etc so , for now, prefer the idea of the kit. (Both are a fair bit cheaper than replacing pump+ res+ cpu block+ 2 rads :))

De Luxe ! Kit should be with me before the weekend - if it were DPD it would be:) but it's with Royal M/Fail 'First Class' so might not be :(.
If it is then will hopefully be sorting over the weekend - if not it will be a week later.
Will follow the instructions and let all know how it goes.

Decided that it would be sensible to get 2 litre of white pre-mixed coolant in case the first does end up contaminated - if it does not I can use the 2nd litre when I drain and re-new in about a years time:)
