Want to give my parts a big flush through as I'm changing from blue fluid to red.

Now before I've taken every aparts and rinsed it all and done it all that way but that takes agess!!

Was thinking of connecting the out side tap to the loop and flushing it through that way as that should give everything a good clean.

The loop with then be flushed with distilled water to remove any particles from the un-filtered mains water.

Now I know the pressure can be quite high as it'll be watched closely but apart from that is there anything else that can go wrong?

I'd just be careful of all of the fittings. I presume you're flushing the loop while it is all connected up? if so, as much of a pain as it might be to take it all apart, I would really recommend doing so. Theres only so much much that water flow can remove. Stains from dye etc may remain.

I know it's more work but I would just recommend just taking it all to pieces. Washing it all out in a kitchen sink bowl thing that is filled with distilled water.

The only thing that might be worth doing is what you said with just the rads. If you didn't fully flush them out before you connected up your loop then you'd be surprised how many flakes build up in the coolant.

TL:DR personally I wouldn't risk it and just disconnect everything to flush.
