Flushing an EK rad?

I suspect the answer to this will be 'Yes', but I'm going to ask anyway...

On the box of my 240mm EK Rad it says that you don't need to do any internal flushing.
Should I flush the rad anyway?

I now it wont hurt to do it anyway, but I'm lazy...

I would suggest to flush it through a couple of times anyway! Wont do any harm!

Then a final flush of distilled/ deionized water.

I flushed mine but nothing came out,(never read the box, doh) so might as well save yourself the hassle tbh

I read the box and decided to give it a quick flush just to make sure. Whilst certainly nowhere near as bad as some of the pictures you see, there was still a fair amount gritty bits that came out.

It took about 3 flushes before it was all running completely clear and all was well.
