hi guy's and girl's,

I've had my watercooling system up and running for six months now. Do you think it's about time for me to flush
my rads and give the rads fins a good clean out of any dust what could be there?.
Or just leave my system running how it is?.

Over the last month now i have notice that my temps are creeping up a little bit tho, like from 25'c idel to 30-35'c.

So should i just give it a good old clean out?.

Thanks

It's a lot of hassle to start again, if you're worried about the temps, first try replacing the thermal paste, that should do the trick

The only thing worth doing is cleaning any dust off around the rad, you wont notice any difference re applying thermal paste or flushing the system out.

Also temps may have rose due to heating comming on this time of year and windows closed?

I ran my loop on the same water for nigh on 3 years without topping up. Just used distilled + Purple Ice. No corrosion issues.

You shouldn't need to flush it out ever really. You'll get some tubing discolouration and I found some residue on my tubing after a while which I assumed was minerals left in the water.

I’ve not flushed my system for over 3yrs and my temps are the same. Before that my system was running for 2 years before I flushed the loop. I just top it up every now and then.

I ran my loop for 16 months straight and the temps didn't creep up. Only had to vacuum the dust off the radiator to help the air flow through.

Like it's been mentioned it's probably the heating. If you got a TRV on the radiator in your room turn it down a notch if you want to keep the temperature at the levels it was before when your ambient temp was cooler.
