Flushing new radiators?

Will I need to flush my two new XPSC EX360 & EX480 radiators ? I have seen people saying that it isn't needed anymore is this true ?

For the minimal cost of a 1litre bottle of deionised water from Halfords, it still seems like good practise giving the relative cost of the system in the first place. Packing material, dust etc may get trapped inside.

Second hand or used - certainly so.

Some rads do say they are pre-flushed but as huddy pointed out it will do no harm flushing again for piece of mind.

I filled mine with warm water from the tap and shook it around then drained it. Did this a few times and then flushed it with 1 ltr of distilled water to get rid of any imputities.

Yes do rince them out there is still some acid redue left behind in alod of rads even so called sonic cleaned ones.
