hello I need a couple of thousand flyers distributing to residents.
I stumbled upon Royal Mail, has anyone used them for this or is there any better alternatives ?

Honestly don't bother, you'd get the same sort of results just throwing the 'same value' of money in the bin. Just about everyone I know just goes ah more rubbish and slings it in the bin, well assuming they haven't taken their name off the 'spam list'

some local garage put 4 flyers on my car when i was in town, they kindly put their address on the flyer so i popped them in 4 envelopes and posted them back without any stamps. Hopefully royal mail charged them for each envelope :)

This has actually worked for me in the past. Wanted a take out and fancied something new. Flyer was on the mat when I got home do made the order. Needless to say food wasn't great and we have never gone back!

RCD based in Rochdale. They should cover your area

I got my own flyers made and delivered them myself. They do work, just not that well. I think I got 1 reply in every 100. But the work I've had off it has more than paid for the cost of them. Next time I'll use rcd

its all numbers... if .05% of people reply to your mail out, is it worth it ?

do you recover the costs / make a profit?

agreeed most dont read them, but some do

generally depends on the business as to what type of success you get

2500 double sided A5 size for £35 delivered.
just going to target a few rich estates in my town see how it goes.

1 job will pay for the flyers.
will hand deliver them myself i think, worth a shot.

I think if I get a bundle of mags/flyers posted through my door I just through them away. But if it's a single one I have a glance at them. If it's takeaways then you know what they are straight away so I don't bother with them.

Flyers are cheap so depending on the business you can get the money back with one job, then if your good you have recommendations from that job etc.

So after that one job it's all potential profit

I got 10k for £87 delivered. They are single sided but it's only a few quid more to have something on the other side.

I found them on Facebook. Eml printing. Based in Liverpool I think.

They design for that as well.

Ask for a sample so you can see the quality but I think mine are decent
